Before IrisVision
Maico Moreno has served IrisVision as a coach, previously. As a 43-year-old male with optic nerve damage, visual impairment made accessing and enjoying visual content nearly impossible for him. “Prior to IrisVision, I relied on the verbal descriptions of others. I listened to movies and shows and was dependent on mostly auditory accessibility software and tools.” However, a recommendation from another veteran led Maico to explore low vision glasses and optic nerve damage solutions online. After IrisVision
Maico had always used glass magnifiers and tactile assistive technology but their functionality was limited to the bare minimum.
