In their words
“The whole unit is a lifestyle and a game changer for anyone with macular degeneration, and I would think with many other forms of low vision as well”
Before IrisVision
At the age of 36, everyone thought that James was a heroin addict as his retinal tissue was decaying. But one doctor at SW Medical Center diagnosed it to be pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) after noticing his skin condition around the neck and told all the other doctors that they were stupid for not noticing it before. One of the first symptoms of PXE is Macular Degeneration. Initially, James used a Samsung VR headset, Samsung Galaxy Phone, and the real Lumino app by Samsung for carrying out his daily chores. But later on, he was informed about IrisVision which he found to be an advanced and better way of what he was already using. James is a US army veteran so he got his IrisVision Live headset through IrisVision VA Program. “My overall experience with IrisVision is that it is a lifestyle! I use it multiple times daily. IrisVision has given my life back to me in 1 million different ways.” James tried other low vision aids but found IrisVision to be helpful in any given situation.
After IrisVision
James finds it his duty to find every possible opportunity to spread awareness about IrisVision to the low vision community. He feels positive that he has encouraged dozens of people to buy the headset and spread the word further. James calls himself the IrisVision Lifestyle.
