What is retinitis pigmentosa?
Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is a group of inherited disorders that gradually break down the retina’s light-sensing cells. It often begins with night blindness and a slow loss of peripheral vision, narrowing the visual field over time into what is commonly called “tunnel vision.”
